i think you are right, I thought the first gen went until the restyle but it looks like they call this the second gen when they relocated the exhaust. The model codes SR I and SR I I. I’d consider it a facelift of the first gen but i guess that would be wrong.

You got me, it must be a Gen2 with the rear exit exhaust.  The side pipes were one of the cool things about the Gen 1 cars.
